Masala Library

This is a place to visit for an exquisite fine dining experience. The restaurant serves some of the most amazing Indian dishes that you may have ever imagined. The ambiance and decor, both of them is so lavish and very elegant. The food menu is well-crafted and lists some well-known dishes that showcases the gastronomic heritage of India. The Curry Leaf Prawn, Naga Pork, Deconstructed Samosa, Charcoal Bhajia, Tawa Keema with Bitter-gourd, Mizo Stew Black Rice, Galouti Kebab and Mushroom Chai are some of the dishes I would recommend. Every single dish is so well made and packs a ton of flavors. For Desserts, have the Jalebi Caviar or Chocolate Mousse. The Jalebi is served with Rabri and tastes heavenly. Not to forget the Mushroom Chai.

Pa Pa Ya

This is a stellar place. Pa Pa Ya is renowned for its Asian Cuisine – Chinese, Thai and Japanese. They serve an array of delicious Asian food, and all that with a marvellous twist. Their Sushi, Prawns, Dimsums, Tempura, Burger and Pork Belly are some of the dishes I would recommend. The Sushi are so fresh and tastes heavenly. The Pork Belly is so crisp and well-cooked, you would lick your fingers. Everything they serve speaks of authenticity and flavors. They have a full Bar too. Which means, patrons can enjoy sinful beverages to complement the food. One of a kind experience.

This university-themed restaurant is a fabulous place for some progressive fusion food. The dishes will take you back to your childhood days. Be it interiors or food, everything speaks of fun. The Bar Nibbles, Starters and Mains, all of them are so well-crafted and so are the drinks. Some of the must-haves are the good old classic Chilli Chicken, Chettinad Chilli Crab, Rampuri Gosht, Goan Fish Curry, Mukherji Nagar wala Chili Paneer and Chicken Tikka Egyptian Pizza. This new entrant is a tough competition to all the well-established players in the locality. 18+ Cafe & Lounge serves amazing breakfast, Shakes and Smoothies. The menu has a huge variety to choose from. Have the Mrs. Chawla’s Tray. What a wonderful assortment it is! It comes with Aloo Gobhi Paratha, Chole, Samosa, Karare Aloo, Lassi, Aam Ka Achar, Dahi, Lassi and Gulab Jamun. Everything tastes so delicious. Health freaks should opt for the Healthy Tray with Eggs, Cold cuts, Juice and stir-fried Veggies. Also try the Pulled Meat with Cheddar Cheese Sandwich, Pasta and International Veggie Pizza. They also have some good Indian dishes that are quite filling. For Beverages, they have Coffee, Tea, Shakes, Smoothies and Juice. Their Nutella Hazelnut Shake and Banana Shake are a must-have.

Walled City Cafe

What a place it is! Right in the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, the Walled City Cafe is Old Delhi’s first cafe-cum-lounge. The ambiance of this place is calm and beautiful, yet so alluring. This cute, little cafe is situated adjacent to Jama Masjid and serves some amazing food. They serve a wide array of delicious food at an exceptional prices. Needless to say they serve some of the well-regarded Mughlai food, Paya, Nihari, Qeema, Bheja, Qqrma and pretty much everything Mughlai. Do try their Grilled Chicken Breast, Malai Fish Tikka, Bhuna Gosht and Blue Lagoon Mocktail. They also have an array of Beverages, Shakes and Mocktails. Everything are so well-made and tastes quite delicious. The portions are great too.

Lord Of The Drinks Meadow

If you love open garden restaurants, this is a place that will suit you. Located right inside the Deer Park in Hauz Khas Village, the Lord of The Drinks Meadow is a great place for Drinks and equally delicious food to complement to. They have a huge Bar menu comprising domestic and imported beers and liquors. Their signature Cocktails are pretty decent too. Go for the My passion, made with Vodka, Passion Fruit, Pineapple Juice and Star Anise. They have a fabulous Chuski Bar too. To have it with the Drinks, go for Rosemary Aloo Chaat, Chicken Tangri, Crispy Prawns or Fiery Chicken Balls. This place is perfect for a picturesque night-out.

This place boasts of a fabulous terrace and some uniquely crafted menu. The place is spread across three floors and is themed across travelers and world destinations. Speaking of the food, the menu is so huge, I bet you would have to scroll many times before you finally decide. They have everything you may have heard of – Fatoush from Syria, Rashabali from India, Falafel from Egypt, Dharamshala Paneer Momos from India, Machher Jhol from India, Laham Arayes from Jordon, Khyber Chapli from Afghanistan and so others. I personally enjoyed the Dharamshala Paneer Momos, Khyber Chapli, Mangalorean Prawn Ghassi, Dehraduni Basmati, Kosha Mangsho and Rashabali. They have a full bar which serves some of the finest Beverages and Drinks. Everything about this place is wonderful. Do try them.

Zabardast Indian Kitchen

Zabardast North Indian food!!! This is what Zabardast Indian Kitchen is all about. You know you are going to have some fabulous food when you see such detailed menu with some of the most-loved food items that we Indians cherish. I am speaking about Raita, Achar, Shorba, Salad and Namkeen. The Starters are so delicious. The Pishori Mutton Burrah, Dhaba Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Vegetable & Fruit Salad are simply mouth-watering. For mains go for the Magaz Wala Tawa Chicken, Bhuna Gosht, Paneer Malai Methi and Peeli Daal. Pair all these with either Veg Pulao or Garlic Naan or Hari Mirch Paratha. Don’t forget to have the Mint & Anaar Raita and Prawn Achaar. Highly recommended for North Indian cuisine lover.

Civil House

The restaurant serves supremely delicious European and Continental cuisine with a mix of eclectic Beverages. The menu lists some of the most widely-regarded delicacies. I loved the Watermelon and Feta Stack with Balsamic Dressing, Balinese Chicken on Lemon and John’s Toast, the Civil House French Toast. All the dishes are superbly cooked and are so flavorful. The preparation and the taste, both of them are impressive. For Desserts, have the Vanilla Panacotta with an Orange and Pink Pepper Gastrique. In Beverages go for the Watermelon Ginger Fresca, Civil House Special and Nutella and Hazelnut Milk Shake.

A cosy little place in SDA Market. Nukkad is beautifully designed, has a delightful ambience and the food is quite delicious. This is a place where you can spend the lazy evenings. Their menu is loaded with various sumptuous options, both food and drinks. They serve food from across India. I would recommend their Bread Pakoda, Momos, Tadka Maggi, Fish Pakoda with Masala Fries and Burgers. Their beverage are quite awesome too. have the Raspberry Lemonade Fizz, Masala Shikanji, Narangi Banta and Peanut Butter Banana Shake. Visit Nukkad for a memorable evenings.

The Drunk House

The restaurant is spread across two floors and has a large indoor seating area and a beautiful terrace. Coming to the food, the restaurant serves a wide range of cuisine – North Indian, Italian, Chinese. The restaurant serves some of the best starters in the locality. The Paneer Malai Tikka, Kandhari Chicken, Chicken Tikka and Szechwan Pepper Fish are amazingly delicious and shouldn’t be missed. Food served here is fresh and flavorful. The service is absolutely superb as all the servers are very attentive.
