The Grill Kitchen – A 4 AM Late-Night Delivery Joint In South Delhi

The Grill Kitchen is an exclusive late-night food delivery joint in South Delhi, GK and Malviya Nagar. It remains open until 4 AM in the early morning and their specialty lies in serving delicious North Indian food, both veg and non-veg. They are really good in their business, primarily customer satisfaction. They are very attentive and do a regular follow-up until the order reaches you to.

Paneer Aflatooni

This was my favorite starters. The large chunks of cottage cheese were evenly marinated in cashew paste and then stuffed with minced masala and herbs. It looks like paneer sandwich filled in-between their in-house flavoured stuffings. It tasted delicious. If want a “paneer starters,” order this instead of the usual paneer tikka.

Dahi Ke Sholey

One of their “Must Try” items. Deep fried bread rolls filled with a spicy, flavored mash of hung curd and bell pepper stuffing. The hung curd was so aptly flavoured with the spices and herbs. The taste was mildly sour, but the other stuffed ingredients balanced the overall flavors. Great dish for those who aren’t in the mood for Paneer Tikka.

Dal Hatke

Chef’s special black lentils with their in-house spicy tadka. It had a nice, subtle flavor and thick consistency. The dal was made thick and the portions of lentils was quite impressive. The cinnamon and other Indian spices had that peculiar flavor that we are used to. Pair it with rice or paratha. Don’t miss this one.

Hyderabadi Veg Biryani

Long grain Basmati rice cooked exceptionally well with Indian spices and herbs. The richness of green cardamoms and cloves imparted it an excellent aroma. Rice was cooked together with fresh green vegetables.

Soya Rarra

It was cooked on the provisions of mutton rarra. Chunks of soya cooked in spicy minced soya gravy. It is more like similar of soya chaap cooked in rich spicy gravy that too has soya chunks. It didn’t impressed me much. I felt the flavours were too strong and the soya chunks was too tight and slippery to chew. Instead of using the soya chunks, they could have used the regular soya chunka. I would give it a pass for the next time.

For breads, I ordered Mirchi Paratha and Lachha Paratha. Both of them were perfectly made. Not a single portion that was left uncooked or felt soggy. It was perfectly soft and fluffy.

The food delivery is on time and the packaging is pretty decent. The portions are great and the food is satisfying. Overall The Grill Kitchen is an amazing place to order food from. Recommended for late night cravings.
